Elsie is the daughter of Cooper, a rancher, and his wife Mabel. Elsie is a highly energetic, unpredictable young lady and a capable horseback rider.[1] She seems to be wary of newcomers and the player, however is unable to refuse Mi-an, even trying out new activities around Sandrock with her. She also seems to have a love for shiny objects and relics.

Elsie sports short and banged strawberry red hair, has light skin, and purple eyes. She typically wears a yellow and white crop t-shirt paired with high-waisted black shorts, cinched with a brown belt with a lasso. Her attire is completed with dark brown laced boots, a brown messenger cap showing signs of wear, a light blue scarf, grey finger-less gloves, and elbow protectors. Notably, Elsie has a bandaid on her left knee, a subtle testament to her adventurous nature. She dresses in a way that combines practicality on the ranch with her own flair.

Elsie is one of the potential bachelorettes that can be befriended and romanced.[1] The player can confess their love to her with a Heart Knot.
Marriage to Elsie is only available after Chasing Elsie; she will always refuse the player's proposal until they complete the mission and the related content.

Gifts to the player[]
Elsie has a chance to give the player a gift on their birthday when the player reaches Buddy level with her. If more than one possible gift is listed, only one randomly chosen gift will be given.
Elsie will also send an engagement gift the next day after the player successfully proposes to her. For the engagement gift, all items listed are given.

Chat[]
ChatChat is a basic social interaction available at any relationship level. Chatting with Elsie once a day can increase the relationship by 1 point; subsequent chatting, on the same day, only results in the same conversation without any relationship gain.
Elsie's dialogue may change every day and every season. Elsie may also comment about certain events or missions. Higher relationship levels, including romantic involvement, also change Elsie's dialogue.
Gift[]
Gift- You can give Elsie one gift each day. Repeating the same gift on consecutive days will reduce its impact (Loved gifts become Liked; Liked become Neutral; no change for others).
- All giftable items have a base point value. The 'Special neutrals' section in the table shows neutral items with higher rewards than their base value.
- High quality gifts may give extra relationship points, based on their sell price.
- Gifts on Elsie's birthday are worth three times more, and twice as much during festival activities, boosting the value of Desires too.
- It is possible to present 2 birthday gifts: one after midnight and another one after waking up in the morning.
Desires[]
Desires are gifts Elsie has a chance to ask the player for. The player has to be at least associates with Elsie in order for her to be assigned a desire.
If Elsie has a desire, gifting the wanted item will give the higher tier points; otherwise the item gives the base point value. The item's quality is taken into account when fulfilling a desire; gifting Elsie a higher quality item will yield more relationship points.
Play[]
PlayOnce the player has become buddies with Elsie, they can schedule a play date together. Elsie can participate in all playdate activities, including playing Whac-A-Mole.
Spar[]
SparElsie can spar with the player. Her starting level is 16 and she fights with daggers.
Critters[]
CrittersElsie can play Critters with the player up to three times per day.
