Inspection is a minigame played in Commerce Guild on Saturdays and Sundays during the working hours (7:00-22:00). Doing weekly inspections rewards the player with Gols, Reputation, and Commerce Badges.
The player needs to reach Workshop Rank of Two Stars in order to participate in the inspections.
Overview[]
On day 6 of the player's first month in Sandrock, Yan will send them the following letter, letting them know inspections are available:

Dear Player, Rejoice! For the weekend has arrived! No, no, that doesn't mean it's time to slack off- on the contrary! Not only will standard commissions be available, but also, the time has come for guild inspections! Earn additional reputation points for your workshop by stopping into the Commerce Guild on Saturdays and Sundays to inspect items submitted from all across the Eufaula. Now, I'm not saying it's mandatory or anything, but you'd better be there! P.S. Only Two Star or higher rated Workshop owners can participate. If you're not there already, get there! Your friend and manager, Yan |
Once the player's workshop reaches the rank of Two Stars, they can participate in guild inspections. The inspections are held in the back end of the Guild building; the player needs to approach an item and interact with it to start the inspection process. There is a total of six items the player can inspect for each day.
Rules[]
Each inspection consist of examining a product for flaws and marking those flaws.
- The score is dependent on the amount of flaws found during the time limit and the number of errors made.
- An inspection has a time limit of 2 minutes per item. The timer starts when the player interact with the item stand.
- Each inspection displays two different products: an inspected product to the right and a reference product to the left.
- The player needs to determine which parts of the inspected product do not match the reference product.
- The player can rotate the item to find flaws. Both the inspected product and the reference products rotate at the same time.
- Once a flaw is found, the player needs to click on it to fix it. Each click costs one action point.
- The player has a total of 5 action points per inspection.
- Clicking on the area that does not have a flaw will be considered an error.
- The player can use a Magnifier to get a hint. The Magnifier has to be in the player's inventory to be used and will be consumed on use.
- The inspection ends when the time runs out, too many mistakes are made, all flaws are corrected, or the player cancels the inspection.
- Running out of time or action points without finding all flaws results in failure.
- Cancelling an inspection always results in failure.
- If the inspection is successful, the player receives a reward: a small amount of gols, experience, and reputation points.
- If the player makes no mistakes, they will also receive a few Commerce Badges. The number of badges received depends on the item's rank.
- If the player makes any mistakes but makes a successful inspection, they will get one Magnifier instead.
