Logging

Logging is chopping down trees, cacti, and shrubs to gather resources. The primary tool for logging is the axe; stronger axes can chop down tougher trees.

Due to the environment of Sandrock, the lack of trees and greenery is the cause of a strict law that prohibits the destruction of plant life. Wood resources are often gathered through Wood Scraps.

Trees

Chopping down plants classified as trees result in a penalty. Trees can be kicked; kicking can log the trees into the Encyclopedia.

• If the player attempts to chop down a tree or cactus with Burgess nearby, Burgess will comment about the player's action, resulting in a loss of relationship points and gols.
